Not every electrical job means opening up walls. Sometimes cutting holes just isn't an option - maybe it's a finished space, maybe the walls aren't accessible, or maybe the disruption simply isn't worth it. That's exactly where wire mold comes in, and it works better than most people expect.

Wire mold lets us run wiring along the surface of walls or ceilings in a clean, finished channel. It's a practical solution that gets the job done without the drywall repair, the mess, or the extra labor. The end result looks intentional, not like a workaround.

On this one, we also hung a new closet fixture. It's a small thing, but a closet with proper lighting is something you notice every single day. No more squinting in the dark trying to find what you're looking for.

What caught our attention was something a lot of older homes are hiding - porcelain wire nuts. These are a sign of very old wiring, and while they may have done the job decades ago, they're not something you want to leave in place. We swapped them out as part of the work. That's the kind of detail that's easy to overlook but matters for both safety and long-term reliability.

Little upgrades like these don't always make headlines, but they add up. Better function, better safety, and a home that's been looked after properly - that's what electrical repairs done right actually look like.
