Barndominiums are a different animal when it comes to electrical work. The open framing, exposed beams, and mixed-use spaces mean you have to think ahead - way ahead. That's exactly what we did on this bathroom rough-in.

We installed a 4-gang switch box built to house 5 total switches. That might sound like a small detail, but getting this right during rough-in means the finish work goes smoothly and the homeowner gets exactly the control they need in that space - no awkward workarounds, no extra boxes crammed in later.

This is what residential new construction wiring is really about. It's not just pulling wire and moving on. It's planning the layout so that when the drywall goes up and the fixtures go in, everything lands exactly where it should. A packed switch box like this one takes careful wire management from the start.

The project is still underway, but it's shaping up well. Watching a barndominium come together from bare studs to a finished living space is one of the more satisfying builds we get to be part of. There's a lot of coordination involved, and the electrical has to be done right before anything else can move forward.
